How do you participate?
Use the linky-link at the bottom of this post to add a link to your tutorial page. (Not to your blog itself, but to the actual blog page that your tutorial is on.) The posting period ends September 24, 2010.
How will the winner be determined?
You will be rated on:
- Originality
- Execution
- How well you photographed your craft (Quality NOT Quantity!)
- How well you explained the process of creating your craft
- How well you did in the public poll
- Recycled content of your craft
On October 1, 2010, the rating period will end and the winners will be posted soon thereafter!
Rules:
- The tutorial must be yours! It is ok if it is inspired by something else, but include a link to your inspiration. (Even if it is difficult to see how you were inspired!)
- It must be a Halloween craft.
- You must have a means of me contacting you in case you win. (I doubt this will be a problem, but just in case...)
- You must be willing to provide me with a mailing address if/when you win. (Privately, of course! Only for Silver and Gold winners!)
- Choose carefully...Only up to 3 tutorials per entrant. (One person can only win once, tho!)
- You must post the button (or a link) on your blog!
- Last, but certainly not least: Your craft must involve recycling to some degree!
In the event that the winner cannot be contacted or is found to be in breach of the rules, the runner up will receive gold status! (and so on)
Good Luck!!!
And don't forget to grab the button for your page! Only one button is required! There are 2 to choose from to the top of the right side bar!

Thanks for letting me know about this! I am excited! I will enter in my grocery bag ghosts once I get that tutorial done!
I entered your Halloween contest and am soooo excited because I've never entered one before! I'm actually holding a Spooky September Challenge on my blog and made a project following all the requirements to get everyone going...(I was told it was too "challenging"..LOL!) Anyway, the recycled parts are the chipboard back to the wall hanging - it's the back of a paper pack and the old valance/curtain at the bottom and some scrap fabric used for bows - do these things count?

Yes, they do count! :)
Any part of it can be recycled from anything. As long as the recycled parts are listed in your tutorial.
Thanks for your comment on my Halloween wreaths. I did not make a blog tutorial for it, because I was busy filming myself making it. I am going to post a tutorial video on my blog and you tube channel. When I'm finished, I'll link back here. Great link party!
I can't wait to see your video! :)
What an awesome party!
P.S. Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck in the giveaway for the Halloween Countdown Chain!
Does the blog link need to have a step by step picture tutorial or can I just explain what I did under the picture. I ask, because my latest one was really simple and straight forward to make.
Some pictures speak volumes. It would be best to have one perfect shot than 20 pointless ones.
Some crafts need many steps with many pictures, some may be only a few steps with one or two pictures.
If you can easily convey how your craft is done in one picture, then that is perfectly fine. :)
What a fun party! Great idea!
Thanks! :)
